This is one of my favorite paintings to date. And it took a lot of time. This is Fae Dwelling, a place where the Fae live. Originally the painting was to have more than one Fae floating around it, but after painting the first one I decided I liked the way it felt isolated. The tree itself lies "between the worlds." In places you'll notice its not as solid as others.
